Karting For All Ages

Premier Karting and Top Karting are once again joining forces to present the Ottawa Karting Academy for beginners and seasoned veterans of all ages (Cadet, Junior, Senior and Masters, therefore 7 to 50+ years old are welcome). 

Learn the Basics of Karting

From following a proper racing line , kart control to braking. The Ottawa Karting Academy teaches drivers everything needed to win a championship.

Hosted by Premier Karting

 Each session is held by current team drivers and Premier’s own driver coaches. The same coaches that have won countless local , regional and national and international championships.

From Beginner to Pro.

Each session covers a different aspect of competitive kart racing, including but not limited to:

          • Flags & Procedures
          • Corner Anatomy
          • Racing Line
          • Vision
          • Braking
          • Driving Position
          • Steering Inputs
          • Racecraft & Strategy

Drivers will be instructed by both current Premier Karting National Team Members as well Premier’s own driving coaches. Throughout the years the coaches have won numerous national championships and have represented Canada on a global scale.

All events are hosted at Top Karting in Hull (200 Rue d’Edmonton, Gatineau, QC). Each day is comprised of 4 classroom and 4 on-track sessions. The dynamic curriculum ensures students of all levels are stimulated and appropriately challenged.

Zak Villeneuve

Now a young driver coach for Premier, Zak was awarded the 2020 NCKC, LRKC, and OGKC Briggs Masters’ Championships in his first season.

Bronson Hetherington

Currently in Briggs Cadet, Bronson has countless wins and championships in the Eastern Canadian region and was selected as an F1 Grid Kid.

Zack Lalonde

Now racing in Rotax DD2, Zack won the 2018 Coupe de Montreal Briggs Junior champion and represented Canada at the Florida Winter Tour.
